Profile and Features of Website:
Can I blog for the band?
You may blog on the band’s activities if you are a playing member of the band. If you would like to please contact the webmaster at webmaster@pelpb.com or via the link in the footer of all the pages on the site and you will be given access and guidance on how to blog.
How do I see the events the Band are scheduled to play at?
The band has a schedule here: Band Schedule
How do I change or set my avatar?
To change or set an avatar you must access your profile, this can be done as such:
1.) Click “Dashboard” on the left hand side once you have logged in.
2.) Click link on left hand side which says “Profile” or “Your Profile”
3.) Scroll down this page to where it says Avatar upload
4.) Choose your Avatar from your computer
5.) Click update profile and bottom of the page.
6.) Your avatar is now set/changed.
How do I comment on blog posts?
First off you must be logged in to post comments. Blog posts are found under Recent News in the Band Info toolbar menu. Under each post there is either “leave a comment or the number of comments left”. Click this and you can scroll down and leave a comment.
How do I like a post to my social network?
You may share any of the blog posts on social networking sites, you will find the appropiate links to do these on each of our blog posts,
Member’s Area and Content:
I can’t find the Member’s Area?
The member’s area is situated along the top bar of the website and looks like this:
Only members that are playing with the band are allowed access to this area, if you are a playing member but cannot access the member’s area please contact the webmaster via the link at the bottom of the page or on webmaster@pelpb.com
How do I download the Band Member’s Sheet Music?
The sheet music is located in the member’s area, only members that are playing with the band are allowed access to the sheet music.
How can I find the Band’s required membership paperwork?
The membership paperwork is located in the member’s area, only members that are playing with the band are allowed access to this material.
How do I upload media for the website?
If you are a playing member of the band you may do this through the media upload section in the member’s area.
Administration
How do I register for membership?
Anyone is welcome to register, only playing band members will have access to the member’s area however everyone can comment on blog posts. To register please see the left hand side of most pages, below the members login, there is a registration link. Click this, enter your email address and choose a username. An administrater will approve your membership asap.
How do I change my password?
To change your password you must be logged in, to change it you must access your profile page, to do this:
1.) Click “Dashboard” on the left hand side once you have logged in.
2.) Click link on left hand side which says “Profile” or “Your Profile”
3.) Scroll down this page to where it says New password
4.) Type new password and confirm it in the box underneath
5.) Click update profile and bottom of the page.
6.) Your password is now changed.
How do I reset my password if I have lost it?
To reset your password you can find a link of the left hand side of most pages on the band website, it says “Lost password? ” Please follow instructions and a new password will be sent to your email address (n.b. the email address must match the email address you signed up with)
